Michael McIntyre on Mock The Week: "T'Lion N't T' The"

Michael McIntyre on a Mock The Week roll, taking the absolute crap out of my home town Leeds, the Yorkshire accent and pronunciation of "The". Now, may I at this point mention that their are some slight factual inaccuracies in his commentary. "The", in the north, is not actually pronounced "t" at all. It is in fact silent and pronounced with little more than an accented last letter of the word preceding the "the". For example, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" would be pronounced "Lion Witch N' Wardrobe" with slight emphasis on the trailing "n"'s. Likewise, "The The" would be pronounced with little more than a blank stare and a couple of grunts. But he was close enough :oP
