The album has been 15 months in the making, and contains 11 completely fresh new songs. It also has a old skool duet by Punjab's very own godfather Kuldeep Manak's nephews Pargat Khan and Jagdev Khan, who sing the pure desi and deep meaningful song 'Marrey Dil Vaaliyan De'. A further gem in this album is the smooth slow jam 'Callege', sang by the one of the most highly acclaimed sad song singers in the Punjab in recent times, Hardev Mahinangal.
