Far from being an angry young man anymore, who writes songs about injustice, heartache, partying, and just plain saying F.U. to the system, I look at life through reading glasses. That doesn't change me as a person. It just changes the perspective I see things from. This song was inspired by my observations of the "MySpace" generation, and how I just don't get it. Not only don't I get it, I don't want to get it. So it is only fitting that this song be done in the genre in which I grew up with.
